Job summary

Frank Gay Services in Orlando, FL is seeking an Entry-Level IT Technician to support our growing Florida footprint by delivering reliable technical support across multiple locations. The role requires travel statewide and involvement in on-site and remote service delivery.

You will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and network devices, while documenting issues and resolutions in ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• Prior IT support, help desk, or technical support experience required.
• Experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business software applications.
• Familiarity with computer hardware, peripherals, and foundational networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to end users across multiple Florida locations.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, software, printers, and network devices.
• Support basic network troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, and structured cabling.
• Document technical issues, resolutions, and service activities accurately within ticketing systems.
• Travel throughout Florida as required to support acquisitions, new site launches, and ongoing operational needs.
• Deliver professional, timely, and customer-centric service aligned with Apex standards.
• Assist with basic system maintenance and IT infrastructure support initiatives.

Job Description – Entry-Level IT Technician (Central Florida – Orlando)

The Entry-Level IT Technician plays a critical role in supporting Apex’s growing Florida footprint by delivering reliable, responsive, and customer-focused technical support across multiple locations.

This individual will ensure end users are equipped with properly functioning hardware, software, and network connectivity, enabling seamless business operations. The role requires flexibility, statewide travel, and a strong service mindset to support dynamic and rapidly growing field operations.

Job responsibilities include:

• Provide on-site and remote technical support to end users across multiple Florida locations


• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer systems, hardware, software, printers, and network devices


• Support basic network troubleshooting, including LAN/WAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, and structured cabling


• Document technical issues, resolutions, and service activities accurately within ticketing systems

Requisite experiences include:

• Prior IT support, help desk, or technical support experience required


• Experience using ticketing systems and remote support tools

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills


• Ability to work independently in the field while collaborating effectively with a broader IT team

Requirements:

• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Florida (valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required)


• Flexibility to support multiple sites in a dynamic, fast-paced environment


• Physical capability to lift and move IT equipment as necessary


• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies
