Job summary

SGS Consulting in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a systems administrator to maintain a mixed fleet of Windows and Fedora workstations and database servers, provision and image machines, and troubleshoot hardware and network issues. You will support non-technical operators and manage local user accounts, with a focus on reliability and security.

Experience with Bash/PowerShell and Ansible is valued, and a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Linux (Fedora/RHEL) and Windows systems.
• Familiarity with basic shell usage (Bash, PowerShell).
• Understanding of networking basics (DNS, static IPs, firewalls).
• Experience with IT automation tools (Ansible).
