Job summary

Heartland Business Systems LLC is seeking an IT Service Specialist to deliver desktop, server, network, and security support for multiple clients. You will handle ticket queues, respond to alerts, and ensure SLA adherence while collaborating with a managed services team.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in IT service roles, strong Windows and networking knowledge, and experience in a customer-facing environment. On-call rotation and ongoing documentation responsibilities are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in technology preferred.
• 3+ years in IT service, systems administration or network administration.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to alerts and manage tickets in SLA.
• Provide remote and on-site IT support for clients.
• Perform proactive maintenance on networks, servers and security devices.
• Document procedures, configurations and resolutions.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation with compensation.
