Job summary

Amazon IT Operations is seeking an IT Support Associate II for the Jefferson, GA area to support multiple operations facilities. You will allocate, maintain, and troubleshoot IT equipment and assist in resolving complex technical issues across a network of sites.

Responsibilities include handling support requests, training new hires, and traveling regionally to support customers. You must be able to lift up to 49 pounds and stand or walk for shifts up to 12 hours.

As an IT Support Associate II, you will use your skills to support the operations team in resolving technical problems within Amazon operations facilities in a defined geographical area that span across a multitude of technical disciplines. Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Basic Qualifications

• - Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
• - Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• - Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
• - 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
