Job summary

Amazon's Operations IT Support Associate II role supports the facilities with troubleshooting across Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. You will handle IT requests, assist in onboarding, and continuously learn new technologies to keep networks running smoothly in fast-paced environments.

This role includes aiding various buildings and remote sites, with emphasis on customer service and reliability, while enjoying Day 1 benefits and a casual dress culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux OS support experience or equivalent.
• Familiarity with cloud AWS and industry certifications is a plus.
• Networking fundamentals (CompTIA A+/Network+, Cisco CCNA).
• Experience with Linux (Red Hat) environments is beneficial.
• Hardware installation and Microsoft hardware experience.

Key job responsibilities

• Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
• Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
• Assisting in training new hires.
• Continuous learning of new technologies.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
• Moving up to 49lbs as well as standing and walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
• Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent experience- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
