Job summary

Lutheran Social Service MN is seeking an IT Support Analyst Tier 1 in Saint Paul. This hybrid role serves as the first point of contact for IT help, supporting staff across the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota. Travel is required and on-the-job training with clear advancement paths is provided.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in IT support, knowledge of ticket management, hardware, and basic networking, plus strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with ticket management, computer hardware, and basic network support preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills for managing support requests and keeping users informed.
• Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ or those approved by the Director if IT Services are required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Background check by Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) and a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day helpdesk-based troubleshooting and technical support for staff.
• Configure, manage, and maintain workstation hardware, operating systems, and connectivity.
• Manage and maintain desktop application software.
• Perform other projects as assigned.
• Provide workstation-related technical expertise to a state-wide network of staff across multiple sites.
