Responsibilities

Peraton is currently seeking an IT Support Administrator to join our team supporting the HHS OIG Information Technology Service Desk Support and Engineering Services Program. The role involves providing technical assistance to HHS-VIP and HHS users, resolving computer problems, and supporting hardware and software use, including printing, email, and operating systems. This position is remote with onsite travel as needed, supporting HHS OCIO VIPs in Los Angeles.

What you'll do:
  • Provide responsive, reliable, and consistent service delivery.
  • Respond promptly to support requests and escalate when necessary.
  • Meet all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues via phone, email, or in person.
  • Maintain records and track support cases.
  • Identify recurring issues and escalate patterns.
  • Support end users with applications and web applications.
  • Document and monitor problems to ensure resolution.
  • Collaborate with network and software teams to restore services.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
  • At least 2 years help desk experience with ServiceNow
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
  • Reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with HHS or OIG customers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments

Salary Range
