Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors seeks a Manager IT Supply Chain to lead software implementations for the Supply Chain portfolio and partner with senior stakeholders across functions. The role requires deep experience in WMS/TMS and retail supply chain tools, with a track record of delivering scalable enterprise solutions.

You will guide cross-functional teams, establish standards, manage vendor relationships, and drive IT initiatives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field required.
• 10+ years configuring WMS/TMS, DC automation, and MHE solutions.
• 7+ years with supply chain systems and retail applications.
• 5+ years in managerial capacity leading cross-functional teams.
• 5+ years delivering and scaling supply chain software solutions.
• 10+ years of integrations using SOAP/REST/JMS/SFTP/TCP-IP.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead software implementation across the Supply Chain technology portfolio.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across business functions.
• Direct functional and technical teams to deliver scalable enterprise applications.
• Provide expertise and recommend solutions for complex issues.
• Establish design standards, delivery approaches, and governance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and advise on capability options.
• Manage tasks with attention to detail, deadlines, and delivery quality.
