Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking an senior IT leader to drive software implementation and development across its Supply Chain technology portfolio. You will establish trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and guide functional and technical teams to deliver scalable enterprise applications.

The role requires deep experience with WMS/TMS, multiple packaged solutions, and extensive API and integration work, with a focus on performance, reliability, and vendor management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical and functional configuration, customization, extension, or modification of WMS, TMS, DC automation, and MHE solutions.
• 7+ years across Supply Chain and Logistics systems with experience developing or implementing business applications for retail supply chains.
• 5+ years in a managerial capacity leading, coaching, and mentoring functional and technical product teams.
• 5+ years of experience with one or more supply chain packaged solutions (Manhattan, Korber, Blue Yonder, Oracle, SAP, Dematic, Intelligrated).
• 5+ years of delivering and scaling software applications in a leadership capacity.
• 10+ years of experience developing integrations using SOAP/REST/JMS/etc and with SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software implementation and development for applications across the Supply Chain technology portfolio.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior-level stakeholders across business functions.
• Lead functional and technical teams in delivering well-designed, scalable enterprise applications.
• Provide expertise and recommend solutions for complex functional and technical issues.
• Establish standards and best practices for software design, delivery, and stakeholder management.
• Lead evaluation of emerging technologies and options for supply chain capabilities.
