Texas Health Resources is seeking an IT Strategic Sourcing Specialist within Supply Chain Management to optimize sourcing for technology services and IT procurement. This role balances strategic planning with hands-on supplier management.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business/finance/healthcare, at least 3 years in data analytics or sourcing, and strong communication as well as cross-functional collaboration skills. Hybrid work is available with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in sourcing, contracting, and supplier management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the RFP process for strategic sourcing initiatives (35%).
• Monitor supplier performance and develop measurement tools.
• Document savings and drive process changes or product conversions.
• Support roadmap and contract calendar development for assigned categories.
• Follow standardized sourcing processes and templates.
• Lead or assist with negotiation scenarios and cost models.

Work hours: Full Time Days (8:00am-5:00pm) for 40 hrs/week (Hybrid work allowed at manager's discretion)

What You Will Do

• Manage the RFP process for each strategic sourcing initiative within the assigned category and/ or service line. 35%
• Assists with the monitoring of supplier performance through developing measuring tools and checking references. 15%
• Documents and communicates the identified vs. realized savings and engages end users in needed process change or product conversion. 15%
• Assist Program Director with the development and maintenance of a strategic roadmap and contract calendar for assigned category. 15%
• Follow standardized sourcing processes and templates to support repeatability, auditability, and quality. 10%
• Lead (or assist with) the development of negotiation scenarios, cost models, and category. 10%

What You Need

Education

Bachelor's Degree Business, Finance, Healthcare related fields Req

Experience

3 Years experience in data analytics to include financial analysis and quantitative/ qualitative assessment in supply chain, healthcare or related industry Req

Skills

Healthcare IT and/or Analytics experience is Preferred.
