FlatironDragados in Colorado is seeking an IT Senior Business Analyst with strong JD Edwards EnterpriseOne expertise to plan, design, and implement key business, financial, and operational systems across core functions.

You will collaborate with end users to gather requirements, prototype configurations, create reports, train users, and support post-implementation testing to ensure reliable, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1).
• Knowledge or familiarity with SQL queries.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve end-user issues and provide assistance.
• Gather and analyze information to support business cases and system requirements.
• Generate reports with probable causes and solutions for system issues.
• Define requirements and system goals with end users and resolve issues.
• Prototype new configurations and applications to enhance processes.
• Prepare and deliver reports or recommendations addressing trouble areas in JDE E1.
• Establish scope and parameters for system analysis and measure outcomes.
• Provide orientation and training to end users for modified systems.
• Coordinate and perform in-depth tests including post-implementation support.
• Research software and hardware products to justify recommendations.

Overview

Are you an innovative thinker with a strong background in business analysis and JDE Edwards EnterpriseOne? As an IT Senior Business Analyst, you will be at the forefront of planning, designing, and implementing innovative business, financial and operational systems that enhance our core organizational functions.

Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to support critical business processes.

What you will be doing

• Works with end users to identify and resolve issues; end user assistance, business process, system configuration, user account setup and other system issues.
• Gathers and analyzes information in support of business cases, processes, improvements, proposed projects, and system requirements.
• Generates and compiles reports based on findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues.
• Works with end users to define requirements and system goals, identifies and resolves system issues.
• Assists with prototyping new configurations and applications to enhance business processes, operations, and information process flow.
• Prepares and delivers reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in JDE E1.
• Identifies and establishes scope and parameters of system analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions.
• Provides orientation and training to end user for all modified and new systems.
• Coordinates and performs in-depth tests, including end user reviews, for modified and new systems including post-implementation support.
• Conducts research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts.

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years related experience required.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1)
• Desired JD Edwards module and related application experience:
  • General Accounting
  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Multi-Currency
  • Job Cost
  • Procurement
  • Fixed Assets and Equipment
  • DAS (Reports Now) report writing or other similar report writing tools
  • Knowledge or familiarity of SQL queries
  • Experience researching ESU’s and new functionality provided by Oracle
