Job summary

School Of Science & Technology in Houston, TX is seeking an IT Specialist for SST Champions CP to support instructional technology in a full-time campus role. The position reports to the Operations Manager and requires a nonexempt status.

Responsibilities include planning and coordinating instructional technology applications, assisting teachers and staff with hardware and software, maintaining inventory, and participating in district meetings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and implementing instructional technology applications.
• Provide ongoing in-servicetoteachers, administrators and Para-professionals in the use of instructional technology and hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software to identify computer malfunctions.
• Maintain technology inventory records and paperwork.
• Coordinate efforts to assist schools in the identification, selection, acquisition, use and evaluation of computer hardware and appropriate software.
• Attend required local, state and other meetings/workshops/conferences to share and collect information gained with the district schools.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
