About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the National Ground Intelligence Center, Information Technology Directorate, Cyber Security Office, Charlottesville, VA 22911.

Experience Requirements

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-13). Specialized experience for this position provides technical guidance on cybersecurity architecture to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of complex IT systems to include on-premises and cloud infrastructures AND Implements architectural and engineering methodologies and serves as cybersecurity technical advisor to multiple Agile development teams across a diverse portfolio AND Able to communicate architectural design requirements to engineering teams responsible for delivering the solution AND Ensures developed architectures comply with information security policies, regulations and industry best practices throughout the system development lifecycle.
