Job summary

Rivers Casino Philadelphia is seeking an IT Support Technician to install, move, and maintain computing systems and applications across the Enterprise. Under supervision, you will support users and gaming systems and coordinate with the IT team to deliver seamless technical services.

You will ensure compliance with Rivers Casino Philadelphia policies, security guidelines, and internal controls while delivering exceptional customer service to patrons and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Install, move, and maintain computing systems and applications as directed by IT management.
• Receive and respond to calls and requests regarding system or network issues.
• Create and update documentation for systems, network equipment, and user locations.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance for hardware and software; work with IT staff to resolve issues.
• Maintain understanding of IT policies and security requirements, including Acceptable Use policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patrons and staff in a professional manner.
• Meet attendance guidelines and comply with company policies.
• Complete required Rivers Casino Philadelphia training within nine months of employment.
• Attend necessary meetings; understand duties may change; hours determined by a 24-hour schedule.

Description

Summary: Under supervision, perform diversified duties required to install, move, and maintain computing systems and applications as well as support users and gaming systems across the Enterprise. Works with the IT team to provide seamless technical services. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Rivers Casino Philadelphia’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards, and objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

• Complete work requests as directed by IT Management regarding installation of systems, voice/data network connections and coordinating work with users.
• Receive and respond to incoming calls and/or requests regarding problems with systems and voice/data network connections.
• Create and update all documentation relating to systems, network equipment, and user locations.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance for all hardware and software. Works closely with the IT Specialist II and Supervisor IT to resolve issues.
• Maintain a current understanding of all IT policies and guidelines regarding information security, including the Rivers Casino Philadelphia IT Acceptable Use Policy.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicate in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner.
• Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Must complete all required Rivers Casino Philadelphia Training programs within nine (9) months from commencement of employment.
• Attend all necessary meetings.
• Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Hours are determined by a 24-hour schedule.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.

• Previous customer service experience preferred.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Must be able to move through all areas of the casino as well as lift up to (30) pounds.
• Must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
• Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Gaming license.
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening.
• Ability to work in a noisy and smoke-filled environment
