Responsibilities
  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment
  • Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
  • Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events
  • Maintain and execute established Compliance policies and procedures
  • Assists in monitoring gaming operations and assessing compliance with state gaming laws, corporate policies, and licensing requirements
  • Assist in preparation of regulatory reports and presentations to state gaming authorities.
  • Supports relationship with regulators especially during inspections, audits, and investigations
  • Coordinate and deliver compliance training to casino staff.
  • Review and advise on operational processes to minimize risk and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate regulatory activities to provide optimum support to all Departments and Managers
  • Performs research, as necessary, for small daily projects and questions to large-scale implementation procedures and reports findings to Manager
  • Assists in the implementation and enforcement of the property’s Responsible Gaming program, to include quarterly reporting.
  • Supports the Self‑Exclusion Program (VSEs) and performs account maintenance to ensure compliance with jurisdictional rules
  • Monitor and aid in completion of other regulatory activities and programs as necessary, to ensure compliance
  • Maintains necessary compliance logs and ensures timely updates
  • Assists Manager with administrative duties, as needed
  • Minimize potential regulatory risk of IRS fines and penalties by maintaining compliance with the Penn National Anti‑Money Laundering Program, including but not limited to, thorough auditing of daily Title 31 paperwork, accurate and timely submissions of currency transaction (CTR) and suspicious activity (SAR) reports to the IRS and FinCEN, respectively, as required by federal law.
  • Supports the Title 31 Compliance Program, to include on‑going evaluation of departmental procedures, training materials and system capabilities of capturing cash-in and cash-out transactions.
  • Partner with the HR team to ensure accuracy of compliance requirements as well as timely completion of required compliance training.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. /B.S.) in Business or related field from four‑year college or university
  • Casino experience preferred, but not required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (World, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Must have excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

The individual must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state and local regulations.
