BitGo is seeking an IT Specialist responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our software, hardware, and networks. The role includes supporting a global staff of employees and contractors. Resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication are essential. The goal is to ensure a smooth and efficient IT experience for our staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Install and configure software and hardware.
2. Manage IT help desk and technology tools.
3. Provision accounts and deploy workstations.
4. Monitor system performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
5. Troubleshoot issues and outages.
6. Ensure security policies are followed.
7. Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
8. Train staff on new technologies and develop technical documentation.
9. Maintain an internal wiki with manuals and IT policies.
10. Follow change management processes.
11. Maintain accurate asset inventory.
12. Perform other IT-related responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an IT Specialist, IS Technician, or similar role.
• Experience with endpoint deployment, LAN/WAN networks, and patch management.
• Knowledge of system security.
• Familiarity with operating systems and platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, JAMF, MacOS, and Ubuntu.
• Resourcefulness, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication.
• Ability to analyze and prioritize requests and alerts.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Self-motivated and research-oriented.
• Availability for off-hours urgent requests and weekly IT meetings.

Preferred Background:

• BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (a plus).
• Professional experience with Jamf, Atlassian, Slack, Google Workspace, MacOS, Linux.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
