Job summary

NAVAIR is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to support the Digital Group at FLTREADCEN DET MID ATLANTIC, Pax River, Maryland. You will review system changes, provide technical guidance, and help plan the design, testing, deployment, and sustainment of AvPLM applications and infrastructure services.

The role emphasizes coordination across multiple stakeholders, adherence to cybersecurity and lifecycle-management requirements, and delivering implementation plans for complex projects

Qualifications

• Experience reviewing proposed system changes and software change requests, assessing impacts and recommending actions.
• Provide technical advice to program and project leadership on AvPLM systems, infrastructure operations, and sustainment.
• Plan, coordinate, and support design, integration, testing, deployment, operation, and sustainment of AvPLM applications, interfaces, and infrastructure services.

Responsibilities

• Review proposed system changes and software change requests and assess impact.
• Provide technical advice on AvPLM systems implementation and operations.
• Plan, coordinate, and support design, deployment, and sustainment of AvPLM applications and interfaces.
• Develop and execute implementation plans for projects with commercial off-the-shelf products and custom software.
• Ensure compliance with IT, cybersecurity, accessibility, quality, configuration-control, and lifecycle-management requirements.
