THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (APPSW/INET) (TITLE 32), Position Description Number NGD0263P01 and is part of the TN ARMY National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization. This Job is open for eligible candidates who are ONBOARD ONLY (Internal to the Agency).

Key Responsibilities

As an IT SPECIALIST (APPSW/INET), GS-2210-12, you will serves as a principal expert and the authoritative source for software application development providing project leadership to lower-graded specialists. Determine feasibility of the requested applications. Analyze National Guard Bureau (NGB), agency and locally developed standard/stovepipe systems to determine needed additions. Develop reports on the status of projects.

Develop and document internal Standard Operating Procedures/Instructions (SOP/SOIs) for application development. Determine overall technical design and structure of websites and web-based applications. Attend conferences and seminars that deal with Software Engineering and application development. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Education
