Job summary

Ritz Instrument Transformers is seeking an on-site IT professional to maintain reliable technology operations across the facility. You will provide end user support, administer Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments, manage security, and support ERP and manufacturing systems on the shop floor.

You will troubleshoot issues independently, communicate effectively with end users, and handle multiple priorities in a manufacturing setting, ensuring uptime and secure systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT support in a manufacturing environment is required.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments.
• Ability to manage security and access across multiple systems.

This position serves as the primary on-site IT resource and is responsible for maintaining reliable and secure technology operations across the facility. The successful candidate will provide help desk support, administer Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments, maintain network and security infrastructure, support ERP systems, and ensure the availability of critical manufacturing technology. This role requires a hands-on professional who can troubleshoot issues independently, communicate effectively with end users, and manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

End User Support

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers
• Deploy and maintain Windows workstations
• Create and manage user accounts and permissions
• Support printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other peripherals
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation

Microsoft 365 & Identity Management

• Administer Microsoft 365 environment
• Manage Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID
• Maintain user security groups and access permissions
• Support multi-factor authentication and account security

Infrastructure Administration

• Support Windows Server environments
• Administer Hyper-V virtual infrastructure
• Monitor system performance and availability
• Manage backups and disaster recovery processes
• Maintain server and infrastructure documentation

Network Administration

• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Support switches, wireless networks, and internet connectivity
• Maintain network documentation and diagrams
• Assist with network improvements and upgrades
• Monitor network performance and security

Security & Compliance

• Implement and maintain cybersecurity best practices
• Monitor endpoint protection and security alerts
• Participate in vulnerability remediation efforts
• Assist with security awareness initiatives
• Support incident response and recovery activities

Manufacturing Systems Support

• Support ERP software and related business applications
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve application issues
• Support production floor technology and connected systems
• Maintain uptime of critical manufacturing systems

Physical Security & Communications

• Support camera surveillance systems
• Maintain door access control systems
• Support phone systems and related communications technologies
