Job summary

Outfit7 is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst to build dashboards and reports from data across business applications. You will develop SQL views, work with Salesforce data via SOQL, and maintain a Data Lakehouse with ERP integrations.

The role focuses on data reliability, centralized models, and cross-team collaboration to drive data-driven decisions. You will become the go-to person for data and reporting, with opportunities to influence implementations and data governance while operating

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with business applications, SQL databases and Power BI.
• Solid understanding of data modelling for reporting.
• Experience with data pipelines and centralized data environments (Data Warehouse/Data Lakehouse).
• Experience with ERP/CRM (Salesforce) or similar business applications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build dashboards and reports from data in business applications (ERP, HR, etc.).
• Develop SQL views in ERP to support financial reporting and improve data structures.
• Query and analyze data from Salesforce using SOQL.
• Maintain and expand the Data Lakehouse with integrations from ERP and other systems.

Love when everything just works? So do we. That's why we're looking for an IT Business Systems Analyst who's a natural problem solver, a strong collaborator, and someone who thrives on making things run smoothly behind the scenes.

Your main focus will be building dashboards and reports based on data from our business applications. You'll ensure that data across systems is structured, reliable, and useful for reporting and decision-making. You'll support daily operations, improve existing solutions, and contribute to new implementations.

The long-term goal — to become the go-to person for data and reporting within the team.

In this role you will

• Be responsible for data and reporting across business applications (ERP, HR, and other systems).
• Manage and develop SQL views in the ERP system, supporting financial reporting and improving underlying data structures.
• Work with SOQL queries to extract and analyze data from Salesforce.
• Maintain and expand the Data Lakehouse, including integrations from ERP and other systems.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, combining data from multiple sources into clear insights.
• Structure, clean, and integrate historical and legacy data into centralized models.
• Collaborate with teams across the company to understand needs and translate them into data solutions.
• Support implementation projects, define requirements, and ensure a data-driven approach.
• Test system changes and new functionalities to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Maintain and improve data integrations to ensure reliable data flow.
• Keep documentation and data logic clear, structured, and up to date.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Your experience

• 2+ years of experience with business applications, SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server / SSMS) and Power BI (or similar BI tools), including writing queries and building dashboards.
• Solid understanding of data modelling and how data is structured for reporting.
• Experience working with data pipelines and centralized data environments (e.g., Data Warehouse or Data Lakehouse).
• Experience in working with ERP, CRM (Salesforce), or similar business applications is a plus.
