Job summary

Autobahn in Fort Worth, TX seeks an IT Specialist/IT Generalist to provide frontline in-office IT support across dealership locations. This hands-on role handles Tier 1 issues, hardware/software and user-access problems, delivering strong customer service in a multi-site, fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has IT support experience, expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, Entra ID/Active Directory, Windows workstations, and VoIP.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT support, help desk, or IT generalist role.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support.
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory for user accounts and access.
• Familiar with Windows workstations, common business apps, printers and peripherals.
• Ability to manage multiple tickets with clear documentation.
• Familiarity with Tekion DMS.
• Experience supporting business phone systems and VoIP.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests (Tier 1).
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, printing, account access, and user issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps and services (Outlook, Teams, and more).
• Assist with Entra ID/AD user accounts, passwords, permissions, and access.
• Escalate complex issues to IT teams or vendors when needed.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist with new-hire tech setup, deployments, and onboarding/offboarding.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve hardware/software/telecom issues.
• Help maintain IT standards across dealership locations.

Position Overview: The IT Generalist will provide frontline IT support for employees across Autobahn Fort Worth's dealership locations. This hands-on, in-office role is responsible for Tier 1 help desk support, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and user-access issues, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining reliable technology operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who enjoys supporting end users in a fast-paced, multi-location environment and is looking to grow with a rapidly expanding organization.

Responsibilities:

• - Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests, providing timely and professional Tier 1 technical assistance.
• -Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, printing, account access, and other common end-user technology issues.
• -Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Outlook, Teams, and related productivity tools.
• -Assist with user account administration, password resets, permissions, and access issues within Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory.
• -Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate IT team members or third-party providers.
• -Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
• -Assist with new-hire technology setup, equipment deployments, user transitions, and onboarding and offboarding activities.
• -Coordinate with vendors and service providers to resolve hardware, software, telecommunications, and connectivity issues.
• -Help maintain consistent IT standards, equipment configurations, and support procedures across all dealership locations.

Qualifications:

• -Previous experience in an IT support, help desk, desktop support, or IT generalist role.
• -Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and end-user support.
• -Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including user accounts, authentication, and access management.
• -Familiarity with Windows workstations, common business applications, printers, and peripheral devices.
• -Ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities while maintaining clear documentation and follow-through.
• -Familiarity with Tekion Dealer Management System (DMS).
• -Experience supporting business phone systems, VoIP, and telecommunications equipment.
