Job summary

Autobahn, a premier luxury automotive destination in North Texas, seeks an Automotive Service Technician. You will diagnose, repair, and service high-end vehicles from Porsche, Land Rover, BMW, Cadillac, Volvo, MINI, and VW, delivering performance, safety, and luxury to our clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years experience as automotive technician or trainee preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on repair orders efficiently per standards.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, and drivability systems.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and manufacturer equipment.
• Inspect vehicles and identify additional maintenance needs.
• Communicate with Service Advisors and teammates for a seamless client experience.
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance recommendations.
• Execute warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive and verify repairs for quality.

As an Automotive Service Technician, you are the backbone of the ownership experience and a critical part of delivering the performance, safety, and luxury our clients expect. You are passionate about diagnostics, precision repairs, and continuously advancing your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders efficiently and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, and drivability systems
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, special service equipment, and manufacturer technology platforms
• Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and teammates to ensure a seamless client experience
• Provide accurate estimates for additional repairs and maintenance recommendations
• Execute warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
• Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs for quality assurance
• Maintain manufacturer certifications and stay current with evolving automotive technologies
• Contribute to a positive, high-performance team environment focused on excellence and accountability

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or technician trainee preferred
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment and manufacturer-specific software
• Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn and grow
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
