Small Business Administration in Chicago, IL seeks an IT Data Management Engineer to lead planning, development, and administration of complex data systems across SBA data assets.
You will coordinate data engineering work, manage end-to-end projects, and communicate technical updates to analysts, vendors, and senior leaders, ensuring secure, scalable solutions that support growth and data sharing across SBA.
This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of the Chief Information Officer in Chicago, IL. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Information Technology (IT) Data Management Engineer responsible for leading the planning, development, implementation, and administration of complex IT systems for the acquisition, storage, integration, transformation, analysis, sharing, and retrieval of data across the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must show that you have the required IT-related experience for the grade level to which you are applying: GS-14 Required Competencies: Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. AND Specialized Experience: GS-14 - One cumulative year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 obtained in either the private or public sector related to each of the responsibilities below:
