Job summary

Royal Electric Company is hiring an IT Specialist at our Sacramento, CA office. The role provides end-user technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, with site visits and involvement in IT projects.

You will manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365, assist with endpoint deployment, and document resolutions in the Fresh Service system. Travel to California locations may be required, and bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
On path for degree, certificate, or similar in Information Technology and/or A+ and/or Network+ certification preferred.
2+ years supporting a help desk or related technical support experience.
Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Provide end-user hardware and software support on site and via ticketing system.
Diagnose and resolve issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 or vendors with thorough documentation.
Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Support deployment and maintenance of endpoints and networked devices.

We have a current opening for an IT Specialist at our Sacramento, CA office.

TheIT Specialist provides technicalassistanceand support to end users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. This role handles both routine support requests and escalated tickets requiring deeper investigation and may contribute to IT projects and system administration tasks.

Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:

Support End Users Experience

Support enduser’sdevices (computers and mobile devices) while on site and document via theFresh Serviceticketing system.

Meet SLA metrics andreport outrecommended process improvements.

Setting up new systems, machinery, or networks at a designated site.

Executive support

Frequent site visits.

End User Support

Serve as a point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system

Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices

Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3 or vendors whenappropriate, with thorough documentation

Systems & Administration

Manage user accounts, permissions, and groups in Active Directory and Microsoft 365

Assistwith configuration and maintenance of endpoints via MDM tools

Support deployment of hardware and software across the organization

Maintain asset inventory and lifecycle tracking

Infrastructure & Networking

Troubleshoot network issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, wireless connectivity)

Assistwith printer, peripheral, and conference room AV support

Support patching and software update processes

Documentation & Process

Document resolutions andmaintainthe knowledge base

Follow and contribute to IT SOPs and runbooks

Track and meet SLA targets

Education & Experience

High School Diplomaor GEDEquivalent

On path for degree, Certificate, or similar in Information Technology and/or A+ and/or Network+ certificationpreferred.

2+ years supporting a help desk or related technical support experience.

ValidDriver’slicense

Required Skills & Abilities

Windows10/11 and Microsoft 365 administration

ActiveDirectory user and group management

Strongtroubleshooting and analytical skills

Clearcommunication with both technical and non-technical users

Familiaritywith ITSM platforms (Ticketing systems)

BasicPowerShell or scripting knowledge a plus.

Ability to travel to locations across Californiapossibly oncea month for 1-2 days
Ability to operate company vehicles

Safety & Physical Requirements

Must wear proper PPE while on jobsites.

Mustcomply withall safety standards and procedures.

Sit, stand, and walk during the duration of the workday.

Will lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, crouch, and reach.

Must be able tolift upto 50 pounds

Ability tooperatehand tools safely

Special Considerations

Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) a plus
General knowledge of hand tool/power tool for installations a plus
Ability to be badged at Airports a plus

Salary Range

$30.00/hour - $34.00/hour
