Leidos is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to provide technical and operational information technology support for government and defense programs operating within classified environments. The selected candidate will support installation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and sustainment of IT systems, hardware, software, and networked environments supporting mission‑critical operations.
The role supports the management of physical and virtual environments by implementing best practices for system performance, security, backup and recovery, storage allocation, and infrastructure optimization. Responsibilities include monitoring system operations, applying patches and updates, reviewing performance logs to identify anomalies, troubleshooting technical issues, and recommending system configurations and functional improvements to support operational and customer requirements.
This position requires strong technical expertise in enterprise IT support, systems administration, customer support, and secure computing environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with system administrators, cybersecurity personnel, network engineers, and operational teams to ensure reliable system performance, compliance with security requirements, and operational readiness across multiple technology platforms.
Pay Range: $92,300.00 – $166,850.00.
