Job summary

Ameren Services (B&CS) is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to drive strategic procurement with cross-functional teams. You will develop category strategies, perform spend analyses, and lead sourcing and negotiations to achieve cost improvements and supplier performance gains.

Responsibilities include managing supplier relationships, supporting procurement processes, and driving continuous improvement within the supply chain. A strong background in analytics and MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, other graduate degree, or Doctorate preferred.
• Five or more years of directly relevant work experience required.
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (PSM) preferred.
• IT procurement experience preferred.
• Proficient with the MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Category Management: support Portfolio and Category Managers to ensure Business Partner satisfaction and value creation.
• Spend Analysis: coordinate with market, supplier, and spend analyses to inform category strategies and solicitations.
• Strategic Sourcing: execute sourcing strategies, develop bidding materials, and negotiate terms.
• Supplier Relationship Management: build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and Business Partners.
• Supply Chain Strategy: align category strategy with business planning and budgeting cycles.
• Continuous Improvement: implement leading practices and communicate improvements to Business Partners.
