Ameren Services (B&CS) is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to support procurement and category management processes that create value through lower costs and improved supplier performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive spend analysis, strategy development, and day-to-day procurement support.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in procurement, and the ability to lead multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
• MBA or higher is preferred.
• Professional certification such as PSM is a plus.
• IT procurement experience is preferred.
• Proficient with the MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Support Category Management activities to ensure value creation.
• Coordinate spend and market analyses to inform strategy.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans and materials.
• Prepare contracting docs with terms, pricing and performance criteria.
• Build relationships with suppliers and Business Partners to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Assist in aligning supply chain strategy with business planning.
