Job summary

Mechdyne is seeking an IT Solutions Lead to provide technical leadership and mentorship for support staff, serving as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security challenges.

You will design and implement enterprise solutions, guide technology strategy with clients, and drive service excellence to ensure long-term client success. This role requires strong communication and hands-on leadership across diverse platforms.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, networking, or managed services.
• Proven track record leading technical teams and resolving complex infrastructure challenges.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, and Active Directory.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, cloud technologies, and enterprise security solutions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Level II support staff and promote technical growth.

Job description

Mechdyne is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Lead to provide technical leadership, mentor support professionals, and serve as the senior escalation point for complex infrastructure, networking, cloud, and security challenges. This role combines deep technical expertise with client-facing consulting and operational leadership to drive service excellence and long-term client success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Level II support staff while promoting technical growth and accountability.
• Serve as the primary escalation resource for advanced issues involving Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, VPNs, security, Citrix, MDM, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android environments.
• Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions aligned with client business goals.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and guiding technology strategy.
• Analyze service metrics and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand IT services and solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, networking, or managed services.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and resolving complex infrastructure challenges.
• Advanced knowledge of:
  • Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, and Active Directory
  • Windows Server and desktop environments
  • Networking, VPNs, firewalls, and security best practices
  • Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Citrix
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, cloud technologies, and enterprise security solutions is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and business stakeholders alike.
• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, Security+, CISSP, VMware, ITIL) are preferred.
