Job summary

DOCUmation in Houston is seeking a Technology Solutions Architect (SME) in the Managed IT department. The role focuses on meeting new customers, assessing networks, and proposing a technology roadmap to win their business.

You will lead discovery with C-level contacts, develop assessments, and present technology roadmaps and proposals designed to align client budgets with scalable IT solutions. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Understand common SMB business/technology needs.
• Ability to sell value through strong presentation skills.
• Ability to effectively use consultative sales approach and close deals.
• Minimum of 3 years of IT sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting - identify target client profiles and set appointments with C-level contacts.
• Qualifying - conduct initial meetings to determine fit and gather objectives.
• Assessments - complete customer technical assessments and data collection for roadmap planning.
• Technology Roadmap/Proposal - devise plans aligning technology with client budgets and close deals.
• Tenacity - progress assessments and proposals across multiple clients weekly.
• Confidence/Relational - confidently recommend solutions and communicate necessary steps to clients.
