Job summary

StraussGroup - Executive Search Consultants seeks an IT Solutions Architect & Developer to act as the senior technical resource across the organization. You will design, develop, and enhance ERP-based internal software, lead BI reporting, and manage API integrations, with direct reporting to the CEO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required.
• 3-6 years of experience in software development, architecture, or enterprise technology roles.
• Demonstrated experience building Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models; MS SQL Server expertise and strong business acumen a plus.
• Hands-on development experience in Python, React/Node.js, PHP, or similar + Git/GitHub.
• Experience with APIs and integrating third-party applications.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with CRM platforms (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot) and Mobile Device Management.

Our client is a fourth-generation, family-owned, certified women's business enterprise, operating multiple companies across beverage services, dry ice, industrial gases, and energy. They are hiring an IT Solutions Architect & Developer to serve as the senior technical resource for the entire organization. This role reports directly to the CEO and carries architectural authority across every operating company. It is a builder's role for someone who wants ownership, not a seat on a large IT team.

About the Role

You will design, develop, and enhance internal software applications and technical systems across all operating companies, which run on a shared, industry-specific ERP platform. You will provide architectural leadership across applications, data integrations, API connectivity, business intelligence reporting, and mobile device management. You will operate as the sole technical resource, managing your own priorities and directing your own work, with a direct line to the CEO on technology strategy.

What You'll Do

• Administer and support the industry-specific ERP system across multiple operating companies, including user setup, permissions, and access management
• Design, develop, test, and maintain internal software applications that improve operational efficiency
• Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models to support decision‑making across the organization
• Administer the CRM platform, including module customization, dashboards, lead and deal management workflows, and reporting
• Develop and maintain API integrations connecting business systems, including CRM, electronic signature, and ERP platforms, along with other third‑party applications
• Manage the customer‑facing e‑commerce portal connected to the ERP system
• Maintain internal and legacy reporting tools and support end users with report creation
• Administer Mobile Device Management for company devices, including configuration, application control, and device security
• Work closely with leadership and all departments to understand business needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Collaborate across departments to automate workflows and eliminate manual processes, including through the use of AI tools
• Manage vendor support relationships, including ticket submission, escalation, and resolution tracking with the ERP provider
• Document technical specifications, architectural diagrams, system updates, and internal procedures
• Provide architectural oversight for new technology initiatives and advise leadership on best practices and long‑term technology planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent required
• 3-6 years of experience in software development, architecture, or enterprise technology roles
• Demonstrated experience building Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models; candidates with deep Microsoft SQL Server expertise and strong business acumen will also be considered
• Hands‑on development experience in Python, React/Node.js, PHP, or a comparable language, including version control with Git/GitHub
• Experience working with APIs, including integration of third‑party applications
• Experience with server‑side databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Experience with a major CRM platform (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and with Mobile Device Management systems
• Experience with AI development and automation is a strong plus
