Job summary

DOCUmation is seeking a Technology Solutions Architect (SME) in West Texas to meet with new customers, assess networks, and propose a technology roadmap to earn business. This role emphasizes prospecting, qualifying, and delivering compelling roadmaps aligned with client budgets.

The position requires 3+ years of IT sales experience, solid presentation skills, and the ability to close deals using a consultative approach.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting – Identify target client profile and establish appointments with C‑level contacts.
• Qualifying – Conduct initial meeting, determine fit with target profile, set expectations and understand objectives.
• Assessments – Deploy probing and monitoring tools, gather information, research IT expenses, collect checklist data.
• Technology Roadmap/Proposal – Devise a plan aligning solutions and budget; create proposal, schedule review appointments, and deliver closing objectives.
• Tenacity – Continuously advance the assessment/proposal process across multiple clients weekly.
• Confidence/Relational – Confidently recommend solutions, articulate necessity to clients, and demonstrate strong personal skills for a sales role.
