Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. invites an IT Software Engineering Intern to join the Automated Material Handling Systems team. You will design, code, test, and debug software to automate Fab equipment operations and integrate them with internal systems.

You will learn from senior software engineers, collaborate with other interns and staff, and contribute to feature development, issue resolution, and documentation. This internship offers real-world project experience and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; continuing education in Fall 2027.
• Understanding ITIL Incident, Release, Change, and Problem Management practices.
• Knowledge of Agile Scrum or Kanban methodologies and software engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and debug software applications using various technologies, tools, and Artificial Intelligence.
• Assist with the implementation of new features and enhancements for Fab equipment/tools.
• Provide support, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues and bugs.
• Document and update software specifications and user manuals.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.
