Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient programming and problem diagnosis/resolution.

Kforce has a client in Austin, TX that is seeking an IT Software Engineer. The main function of a Software Engineer is to design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software or specialized utility programs including mainframe and client/server applications, and major enhancement of existing systems. Job Responsibilities:

• Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects


• Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to meet client needs and data

Requirements

• Large systems software design and development experience


• Experience performing in-depth troubleshooting and unit testing with both new and legacy production systems


• Experience in programming and experience with problem diagnosis and resolution

Pay Range and Benefits

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

• Salaried personnel receive paid time off.


• Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
