GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC in Savannah, GA, seeks an IT Software Developer Assistant Manager for 2nd shift in Ellabell, GA. The role focuses on designing, implementing and managing business web applications, with emphasis on system reliability, security, and availability.

You will lead development using Java, Vue, C#, SQL and related frameworks; coordinate with application teams; monitor performance; and guide upgrades and new implementations.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement applications using Java, Vue, C#, and SQL.
• Experience with Oracle, Java frameworks, and open source software.
• Database programming with PL/SQL and experience with middleware.

Salary Range: $86,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

IT Software Developer Assistant Manager - 2nd Shift

IT Professional Software developer will work with other engineers and participate in designing, implementing and managing business web applications and its servers. High level of proficiency working on continuous improvement, utilizing Database, Web Applications development is required - This position provides project management and assistance with IT operational and GEA systems(GCS,JIS,WMS,IVELES,TMS others New systems...) and manage and improve systems reliability, security, availability, and flexibility for excellent information services.

This is a full-time, 2 nd Shift role, with a thirty-minute lunch period, but start and end times may vary depending on business needs. Second shift personnel may be trained during first shift operations for a period of time until transitioning to a permanent second shift schedule. 2nd shift hours will vary according to business needs. Please be aware that day, evening, night, morning, overtime, weekend, and holiday hours may be required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage critical issues & resolutions related to existing Application Systems

• Share system knowledge with team members so there is a backup member when one is absent
• Working hours may vary in accordance with Automobile HMGMA work guidelines, may include overtime, and may work weekends

Secondary:

• Research for the enhancement or improvement of IT systems
• Keep up with new technology/trend and adopt them to IT system and software

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

• Develop and implement applications by using programming language( Java, Vue, C#, SQL, etc.)
• Experience with Oracle, Java, JDK, Java related framework(Springboot, HTML, CSS, SVN, Node JS, etc.)
• Experience with open source software(Linux, AWS.Python. etc.)
• Database(Maria, Tibero, Oracle) Programming experience(PL/SQL)
• Experience with Middleware(Nginx,Tomcat,WebtoB,JEUS,Apache,Jboss)

Must be able to move around the office as well as walk to and from shops located throughout the plant. Must posess critical listening skills to discern end user issues. Must be able to communicate well in both written and oral form. Occasionally required to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) such as servers and other network related equipment. Must be able to walk for long periods from building to building to replace or install desktop and network hardware to support customers. Working hours may vary in accordance with Automobile HMGMA work guidelines, may include overtime, and may work weekends. The estimated base salary rate for the IT Software Developer Assistant Manager is $86,000-$90,000 annually. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
