Job summary

GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC in Ellabell, GA seeks a Yard Specialist (2nd Shift) to oversee vehicle location updates, movement, and prep for staff. You will report issues to management and operate company vehicles safely, handling audits and on-site tasks.

The role supports shift leadership with daily planning, documentation, and task coordination, ensuring safety, quality, and efficient vehicle output in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a lead or coordinator role preferred; Automotive logistics experience preferred
• Ability to interpret instructions and apply them accurately in the field
• Must have solid computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data entry and reporting
• Strong organizational and task-planning skills
• High attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to be proactive and create positive experiences for team members

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate vehicle movements, shuttle routes and parking locations according to daily plan
• Maintain overflow documentation for staging areas, monitor daily van operation and oversee activities performed in staging areas
• Prepare and submit daily shift recap reports detailing completed and incomplete tasks to supervisors
• Communicate and implement priority changes and specific assignments during the shift, focusing on location scans and identifying aged vehicles
• Support and guide team members to meet department requirements and maximize vehicle output efficiently
• Deliver clear directions to team members regarding safety guidelines and new task protocols
• Conduct daily audits to ensure proper safety and quality standards are maintained on the floor
• Assist in executing countermeasures and corrective actions directed by management
• Other duties as assigned

Yard Specialist - 2nd Shift

Full Time Ellabell, GA, US

Salary Range: $59,000.00 To $62,000.00 Annually

2nd Shift Yard Specialist - VPC

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 2 nd Shift - Expected schedule for 2026 and 2027:

October 2026 until 3 rd shift starts in 2027 = 4:30pm-1am

Once 3 rd shift starts = 2pm-10:30pm

(Rotating weekends and overtime may be required) (Schedule is subject to further change based on production requirements)

Summary:

To provide safe, effective oversight on vehicle location updates, identification, movement, staging, and vehicle prep for full-time and temporary staff members. Works under the Yard Assistant Manager and Yard Senior Specialist, and is expected to report all issues to management in a timely manner. Operate company vehicles in a safe and proper manner. Perform vehicle handling audits and support facility unit controls on-site.

The estimated base salary range for the Operations Assistant Manager is $59,000-$62,000.

The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
