Job summary

GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC in Savannah, GA, seeks an IT Software Developer Assistant Manager for 2nd shift in Ellabell, GA. The role focuses on designing, implementing and managing business web applications, with emphasis on system reliability, security, and availability.

You will lead development using Java, Vue, C#, SQL and related frameworks; coordinate with application teams; monitor performance; and guide upgrades and new implementations.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement applications using Java, Vue, C#, and SQL.
• Experience with Oracle, Java frameworks, and open source software.
• Database programming with PL/SQL and experience with middleware.

Responsibilities

• Manage critical issues and resolutions related to existing application systems.
• Develop and propose resolutions or alternatives for better information services.
• Direct and design system architecture.
• Evaluate hardware, software, and solutions.
• Act as liaison with customers and partners IT Departments.
• Develop and implement applications and system enhancements in infrastructure.
• Lead new implementation and modification of IT programs/software.
• Requirements analysis and application system design including database work.
• Test and implement new enterprise applications.
• Monitor system failures and performance; resolve promptly.
• Share knowledge with the team to ensure coverage.
• Work hours may vary; may include overtime and weekends.
