Job summary

Guggenheim Securities is seeking an Equity Research Analyst or Associate to support a senior analyst covering the IT services sector. The role entails fundamental research, complex financial modeling, and articulating investment theses to institutional investors and the sales force.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing, modeling, and communication skills, with the ability to travel for industry events and collaborate across teams. NY office-based role with potential travel.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of relevant experience.
• BA/BS Degree required.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; must obtain SIE, 63, 86 and 87 licenses within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fundamental bottom-up research on IT Services companies, including analysis of disclosures and financial reports.
• Aggregate and synthesize data on IT Services industry trends.
• Monitor market news, macro trends, and stock performance of covered companies.
• Draft reports recapping earnings, themes, events, and breaking news.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models (DCF, SOTP, comps).
• Interact with institutional sales force and clients; respond to inquiries on findings.
