Job summary

GTI Fabrication is seeking a Service Desk Technician I to be the first point of contact for IT support across manufacturing facilities and offices. You will handle desktop support, account administration, device lifecycle tasks, and Microsoft 365 issues.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, timely issue resolution, and adherence to IT standards and SLAs, with opportunities to participate in technology deployments and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests and ensure timely resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve Tier I and II technical issues; escalate complex cases as needed.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, password resets, and onboarding/offboarding.
• Prepare, image, deploy, and inventory devices; coordinate hardware replacements.
• Support conference rooms, AV equipment, and manufacturing workstations.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and SOPs; identify process improvements.
• Assist with IT initiatives including technology refreshes and asset audits.
