Job summary

Ashley Furniture is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst to provide first-line support for internal and external users. You will log, prioritize and troubleshoot via phone and email for Windows/Mac and related hardware and software issues, and escalate when needed.

The role emphasizes customer-focused service, adherence to IT policies, and collaboration with team members across departments. It is an on-site position with location flexibility in multiple US sites, including Ybor City, FL.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting PCs running Windows and Mac OS.
• Experience diagnosing hardware, peripherals and software problems.
• Experience with wired/wireless network devices and basic hardware knowledge.
• Working knowledge of PC diagnostic utilities.
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement.
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist users in resolving problems related to systems operations.

IT Service Desk Analyst

Location: Advance, NC or Arcadia, WI or Ybor City, FL ON-SITE

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8am-4:30pm EST or Sunday thru Thursday 8:30am-5pm EST

Summary

The Service Desk Analyst is responsible for proper prioritization, logging and initial troubleshooting of all incoming requests for support from internal and external users via phone and email in a pleasant and professional manner. This position will perform initial troubleshooting of all internally developed applications and websites, desktop and mobile-related operating systems, other 3rd party software, and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, etc. The Service Desk Analyst will adhere to the company computer usage policy, systems development standards and other company and departmental policies and processes.

What Do You Need?

• Experience supporting PCs running Windows and Mac OS
• Experience diagnosing various hardware, peripherals and software problems and PC and Mac computers
• Experience working with wired and wireless network attached devices
• Knowledge of basic computer hardware
• Working knowledge of a range of PC diagnostic utilities
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
• Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience
