General Purpose
The IT Senior Project Analyst is responsible for leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives and managing Enterprise Technology Portfolio projects, primarily focusing on technology infrastructure.
Essential Functions
- Execute processes and plans, including the planning, coordination, and execution of project processes and activities.
- Draft project review reports and presentations, including key information, meeting outcomes, commentary, and recommendations to support the review process and enable stakeholders to evaluate progress and agree on change.
- Follow organizational delivery standards, obtain relevant stakeholder approvals on required documents, and help meet delivery compliance.
- Execute delegated activities to support the production of workstream and project plans that follow the organization's project management framework.
- Organize and prepare complex documents using a variety of applications including MS Office 365.
- Gather and summarize data for special reports.
- Maintain documentation and traceability throughout the project, documenting project/process requirements using appropriate tools.
- Support testing through documentation of test scripts and verification criteria; contribute to system testing activities.
- Collaborate with IT contracts and vendors on contracts management, reviewing statement of work, addressing legal callouts, and obtaining signatures in a timely manner.
- Support project stakeholder engagement by arranging meetings, events, and other communications.
- Maintain project and program risk registers and issue logs, supporting risk and issue management.
- Organize project post‑mortem lessons learned and document findings; contribute to post‑project documentation and reviews.
- Draft product documentation and user training to support business as usual handover.
- Review existing operations in own area, generating ideas to drive continuous improvement.
- Develop personal capabilities and understanding of project management tools, methodologies, and relevant technology.
- Engage in development planning activities, formal and informal training, and coaching.
- Stay current on relevant tools and best practices in project management.
- Support onboarding and development of IT Project Analysts through training and coaching.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
- 4+ years of experience supporting project execution in a medium to large company, focusing on technology infrastructure.
- Working understanding of IT infrastructure building blocks—operating system, database, storage, backup, monitoring, network, load balancer, firewall—and knowledge of both on‑premises and cloud‑based solutions.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills; effective listener.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with individuals at different organizational levels.
- Proven organization skills: ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks in a demanding environment.
- Strong MS Office skills—Project, Teams, OneDrive, Visio; adept at learning new technologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of PMO tools such as OnePlan, Primavera, Planview.
- Experience with Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- In‑process or completed Project Management Certification such as PBA or CSM.
- Experience in the retail industry or a similar fast‑paced environment.
Physical Requirements / ADA
Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer. It requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in‑person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance are required. Vision requirements include the ability to see information in print and/or electronically. This role requires regular in‑office presence for team interaction, meetings, collaboration, client support, mentoring, coaching, and/or feedback, but it can also be performed using a combination of in‑office and remote work. Ability to travel up to 5% of the time is required.
