Job summary

Enterprise Mobility in St. Louis, MO seeks an IT Business Analyst Senior to translate business needs into user stories, validate requirements, and support the SDLC for our ARMS software solutions.

You will collaborate with the Global Product team, stakeholders, and IT to deliver scalable solutions that support insurers, body shops, fleets, and partners across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Must have strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements from users and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business objectives into user stories, acceptance criteria, and detailed specifications.
  • Lead meetings to define capabilities and requirements for business strategy.
  • Participate in all SDLC phases including planning, design, testing and maintenance.

Responsibilities

The Automated Rental Management System (ARMS®) provides replacement rental management services and software solutions to insurance companies, dealerships, fleets, and collision repair centers. Our mission is simple: to bring all stakeholders in the collision repair industry together in a way that benefits everyone. Our web‑based software solutions are designed to enhance performance management with complete transparency, concise measurements, and seamless data integration. Enterprise Mobility has invested heavily in the modernization of our ARMS user experience, which our insurance partners and body shops rely on to do business with Enterprise Mobility. Each year the ARMS system generates about $8 billion of revenue so it is critical to provide users with the best possible experience.

The ARMS team has an exciting opportunity for an IT Business Analyst Senior to join the team! Here, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the Global Product team, our business stakeholders, IT Management and software development teams to maintain and build new solutions to support future growth. The scope of your role includes developing, interpreting, reviewing, validating, documenting and maintaining business and functional requirements for our software applications. You will collaborate with the Product team and evaluate their requests to determine feasibility, research, identify and present options that best serve business needs. In addition, you will participate in all areas of the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance/process improvement (retrospectives). Here, you will have the opportunity to utilize your analysis skills while working in a fast‑paced, flexible work environment, with a dynamic and passionate team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translates business objectives into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and detailed technical specifications.
  • Strong system analysis skills and ability to research complex systems.
  • Coordinates and facilitates meetings to define key capabilities and requirements that will enable stakeholders to define business strategy.
  • Conducts structured walkthroughs of requirements with business and project team members.
  • May lead acceptance testing to ensure stakeholder/user needs are met.
  • Presents information regarding enhancements and tracks and responds to questions from business and IT team members.
  • Identifies potential problems that may arise with new or enhanced applications; communicates how problems will affect business; recommends solutions.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies.
  • Assist QA/QE with test execution scenarios and issues.
  • Possesses broad knowledge of the IT environment and Enterprise’s lines of business.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving, logical thinking, and communication skills to interpret data and convey complex technical designs to various audiences.

Qualifications
Required
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
  • 3+ years of professional experience as an IT analyst, product owner, project manager, or similar role
  • Must have professional experience gathering and documenting requirements from users and/or stakeholders
  • Must have professional experience communicating information between engineers and business stakeholders
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodology
  • Proficiency with development tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Knowledge of Rest APIs
  • Knowledge of standard SSO solution
  • Knowledge of React UI development
