Job summary

DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a Senior Automation Test Lead in Raleigh, NC for a long-term contract.

The role focuses on leading automation testing for a critical in-house system, with hands-on experience in HIPAA X12 EDI and healthcare claims processing. The candidate will assess requirements, develop test cases, execute functional, integration and regression tests, and manage defect tracking using HP ALM and JIRA.

Qualifications

• 2 Years - Experience in developing and executing test scripts related to X12 EDI Transmission such as 837i, 839, NCPDP D.0
• 2 Years - Demonstrated proficiency in conducting QA and testing on EDI applications
• 5 Years - Experience assessing the testability of requirements and developing test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
• 5 Years - Experience in the execution of functional, integration and regression tests.
• 3 Years - Experience with Healthcare Claims Processing Testing.
• 3 Years - Experience in the review, analysis and reporting of test results.
• 3 Years - Experience on testing web applications
• 1 Year - Experience in scripting automated Test Suites.
• 2 Years - Experience in working with the Business Teams to write Business and QA Documents.

Responsibilities

• Assess the testability of requirements and develop test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.

Our client is seeking a Senior Automation Testing Lead to support the Managed Care Transition Project. The role involves leading automation testing efforts for a critical in-house developed system, including assessing testability of requirements, developing test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents, and executing functional, integration, and regression tests. The position requires hands‑on experience with HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions such as 837I 837P and NCPDP D.0, developing SQL queries, scripting automated test suites, and reviewing test results.
