Job summary

VIVA USA Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Senior Automation Testing Lead to drive automation testing for a critical Managed Care Transition Project.

You will assess testability, develop test cases from BRD/SDD, and oversee functional, integration and regression testing of in-house systems. The role requires hands-on development of test scripts for HIPAA X12 EDI transactions (837I/837P, NCPDP D.0), SQL query proficiency, and experience with HP ALM and JIRA.

Qualifications

• Experience assessing testability of requirements and creating test cases from BRD/SDD.
• Experience executing functional, integration and regression tests.
• Hands-on testing of EDI applications including HIPAA X12 transactions.
• Proven ability to develop and execute automated test scripts.
• Experience with test and defect management tools (HP ALM, JIRA).
• Strong SQL querying experience.
• Experience testing healthcare claims processing systems.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation testing efforts for the Managed Care Transition Project.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for EDI transactions (837I, 837P, NCPDP D.0).
• Assess testability of requirements and translate into comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Execute functional, integration and regression tests; report results and defects.
• Collaborate with business teams and end users for user acceptance testing.
• Provide guidance on test strategy, risk, and quality metrics.

Job description

The client is seeking a Senior Automation Testing Lead for the work related to support the Managed Care Transition Project. The clientis seeking a Senior Automation Testing Lead to lead the effort in building Automation Testing to support the Managed Care Transition Project.

This position is responsible for the following activities related to a critical system being developed in-house at the State:

• Experience assessing the testability of requirements and developing test cases based on Business Requirements and Software Design Documents.
• Experience in the execution of functional, integration and regression tests.
• Demonstrated Experience in Testing EDI Applications.
• Hands on experience to develop and execute test scripts for HIPAA X12 EDI Transactions such as 837I, 837P and NCPDP D.0
• Experience developing SQL queries.
• Experience in scripting automated Test Suites.
• Experience in the review, analysis and reporting of test results.
• Experience with Test and Defect Management Tools. HP ALM, JIRA preferred.
• Experience on testing web applications
• Experience with Healthcare Claims Processing Testing.
• Must be an excellent team player and be able to prioritize concurrent deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Work with end users to ensure user acceptance testing is thorough and complete
• Employees should be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Agile Methodology
