Job summary

Straticon seeks an Information Technology Specialist to support our IT department and end users, ensuring efficient operation of hardware, software, networks, and mobile devices across our offices and job sites in South Florida.

You will report to the IT Director and work with leadership, vendors, and end users to keep systems running smoothly, while contributing to security initiatives and IT policy development.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in IT support, help desk, or systems admin.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/cybersecurity or related field.
• Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Experience with cloud and endpoint security; MFA and access control.
• Strong troubleshooting and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• New-hire and offboarding setup with devices and secure access.
• Day-to-day help desk support for hardware, software, networks, and mobile devices.
• Asset tracking and inventory, ensuring devices are registered and compliant.
• IT infrastructure setup and maintenance across offices and job sites.
• Vendor coordination for hardware, software, and IT services.
• Design and implementation of IT security policies, procedures, and governance.
