Job summary

Eaton is seeking an IT Specialist – Security in the United States, hybrid schedule preferred at a US Eaton facility; remote candidates may be considered. The role focuses on building, delivering, and maintaining site-based infrastructure security, firewalls, IT/OT segmentation, and automation.

Responsibilities include leading security projects, monitoring platforms, and collaborating with stakeholders to improve prevention, detection, and response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years in IT with at least 3 years in Network and Security technologies.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit; must reside within 50 miles of a US Eaton facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME input on security and network design, engineering, delivery and lifecycle management.
• Lead projects across IT and business units to deliver secure technology solutions.
• Perform monitoring and lifecycle functions for performance, availability, and capacity.
• Identify process improvements to boost IT efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Support operational functions of global, business-critical IT systems.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers to deploy secure, network-aware solutions.
• Configure and maintain security tools for network and endpoint posture.
• Automate deployment and configuration with Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
