Job summary

Eaton’s IT Security team is seeking an IT Specialist – Security to design, implement, and support security solutions across site-based and cloud platforms. The role emphasizes next-generation firewalls, network segmentation, and automation, with a hybrid work option at a US Eaton facility; remote candidates will be considered.

You will collaborate with security and IT teams, lead initiatives, and ensure performance, availability, and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Cyber Security must be satisfied.
• Minimum of seven (7) years in IT with at least three (3) years in Network and Security technologies.
• US work authorization without sponsorship; no relocation benefits.
• Candidates in 50-mile radius of a US Eaton facility encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and support security solutions across site-based and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead projects and cross-functional teams to deliver technology and security outcomes.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize platforms, networks, and systems for performance and security.
• Drive process improvements and automation to increase IT efficiency and security posture.
• Collaborate with Information Security stakeholders to improve prevention, detection, and response.
