Job summary

LCVista Inc is seeking a hands-on IT Operations & Security Analyst to own day-to-day security program operations, manage SOC 2 activities, and coordinate vendor and employee lifecycles with MSP and People Ops. You will ensure policy alignment, evidence readiness, and secure configurations across platforms.

You will also respond to security questionnaires, support awareness initiatives, and partner with leaders to drive risk-aware decisions while expanding your security and compliance expertise

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT operations, security, or compliance.
• Hands-on SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar audit experience.
• Experience handling customer security questionnaires.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID admin.
• Experience managing IT asset/laptop lifecycles.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, OWASP.
• Excellent organizational skills; attention to inventories and vendor records.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain security to non-tech.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of SOC 2 Type II program, collect evidence, monitor controls.
• Coordinate annual security policy updates with the vCISO.
• Manage employee and vendor lifecycle with MSP and People Ops.
• Oversee MS365 and endpoint configurations with the MSP to ensure security.
• Support incident response efforts and participate in tabletop exercises.
• Respond to customer security questionnaires with accurate, timely replies.
• Maintain vendor and SaaS inventory with owners and renewals.
• Provide training and self-service guides to reduce recurring requests.
