Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic IT Security Engineer to join our growing team in Duluth, GA. This permanent role focuses on protecting our digital infrastructure and ensuring safety for the company and clients.

You will work with the engineering team to integrate robust security measures across systems and processes, performing incident response, penetration testing, and policy development. A CISSP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering, or a related qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven work experience as a system security engineer or information security engineer.
• Knowledge of security systems including endpoint detection and response, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, log management, and content filtering.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze computer systems and networks for security issues.
• Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure.
• Design and execute tests to identify system vulnerabilities.
• Participate in change management including reviewing security impact of changes.
• Respond to security breaches and conduct incident response analyses.
