Job summary

Cox Farms in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement, and operate security controls across a growing multi-site agricultural business. This hands-on role focuses on infrastructure security, monitoring, detection, and response to protect people, systems, and OT/IT boundaries.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience with SIEM, EDR, identity security, vulnerability scanning, and producing clear security guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a security-related field.
• Hands-on experience deploying and administering SIEM platforms.
• Experience with EDR tools and security alert investigations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and tune security tooling (SIEM, EDR, email, network security).
• Run the vulnerability management program—scans, analysis, remediation tracking.
• Implement access controls including conditional access, MFA, and reviews.
• Configure Defender products and Entra ID security policies.
• Monitor alerts, triage incidents, and follow playbooks.
• Review assessments to identify gaps and drive remediation.
• Perform security assessments and test controls for effectiveness.
• Support incident response with log analysis and containment actions.
• Maintain OT/IT security configurations across greenhouse environments.
• Develop security runbooks and SOPs and document configurations.
• Support phishing simulations and security awareness activities.
