Job description

Description

Mountain Land Physical Therapy runs roughly 80 outpatient clinics, and we are still growing through both new clinic openings and acquisitions. We are hiring an IT Infrastructure & Operations Engineer to own the technology that keeps those clinics running and to lead the IT work behind opening and integrating new ones.

This is a broad role with real ownership. You will run our Microsoft 365 and Entra environment, endpoint management and security, clinic networks and connectivity, and the phone and collaboration platforms our teams use every day. You will also own the vendor and managed service provider relationships behind all of it, and you will run point when a project needs to move or several teams need to be pulled in the same direction.

We will be straight with you about one thing: this environment has been built fast and documented lightly. If you enjoy walking into something that needs structure and leaving it in better shape than you found it, you will like it here. If you want an environment where every process already has a runbook, this is not that job yet. Making it that job is part of the work.

What you'll do
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Entra, and Intune, including identity, access, licensing, and endpoint management.
  • Manage clinic and corporate office connectivity, including circuits, carriers, outages, and network standards.
  • Own endpoint security coverage and partner with our compliance team on access controls and HIPAA safeguards.
  • Manage vendors, carriers, and managed service providers, including quotes, escalations, and implementations.
  • Lead the IT side of new clinic openings and acquisition integrations, from requirements through go-live.
  • Serve as the escalation point for complex clinic technology issues, and support the help desk.
  • Manage hardware procurement, provisioning, and asset lifecycle across clinics.
  • Build the documentation, runbooks, and standards that make all of the above repeatable.
What we’re looking for
  • Three to five or more years in hands‑on IT operations, systems administration, or infrastructure.
  • Real experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, and with Intune or a comparable endpoint management platform.
  • Working knowledge of multi‑site networking, including circuits, wireless, routing, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Experience managing vendors or managed service providers and holding outside parties accountable.
  • A track record of owning projects end to end, including work with people outside IT.
  • Comfort working in an environment that handles protected health information, or willingness to learn it properly.
  • Follow‑through. The ability to close things without being chased matters here more than any single technical skill.
  • The role includes periodic travel to clinic locations.
Preferred
  • Healthcare, clinical services, or another regulated multi‑site environment.
  • Experience in an acquisition‑heavy or high‑growth organization.
  • Experience with an ITSM or RMM platform and ticket‑driven support.
  • PowerShell scripting, or experience with Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft, CompTIA Network+ or Security+, or a project management credential.
Location:

1952 Fort Union Blvd, Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121

Schedule:
  • Mon -Fri 8am - 5pm
Requirements
  • 3 - 5+ years in hands‑on IT operations, systems administration, or infrastructure.
